Heat pump systems require airflow, which is why they are situated outside the home.

The Pressure and Temperature Relief valve needs to be opened at least every six months. The sole purpose of this PTR is to release the pressure if it exceeds the safe level. Opening it every six months ensures the valve remains in good condition without any malfunctions.

Heat pumps use 60-75%* less energy than usual electric hot water systems. It is cost-effective as it uses energy for a fan and compressor only.
